TANSU is a clothing brand from São Paulo that aims to be timeless, versatile and practical. With pieces of easy combination and impeccable modeling, the brand stands out for the quality and timelessness of the clothes. The name "TANSU" came from the furniture of the same name, a type of mobile cabinet that appeared in Japan in the Edo period (1688-1706) and is considered a timeless item, and it has been adapting to the needs of the japaneses in each decade. The challenge creating the logo was precisely thinking of something visual that conveyed the feeling of movement, versatility and timelessness. With that in mind, I created a logo that represents these characteristics as well as referring directly to the shape of the furniture. The logo is the link between the essence of the brand and the meaning of the origin of its name (the tansu furniture).
